FIRST AID AND CARE FOR CHILDREN COURSES
The H Club offers the Care for Children Courses using flexible learning resources to cover
CPR, AED and First Aid training. They teach how to provide emergency care for injured or ill infants and children.
You'll learn the types of medical emergencies children face and how they differ from adult conditions. The courses
also address:

Preventing common injuries and illnesses in children Prevent
The Care for Children course
includes both CPR and first aid skills. The Primary care portion of the course prepares you to render aid to an infant
or child with a life-threatening emergency such as choking or cardiac arrest. Secondary care focuses on developing
secondary patient care skills and building your confidence to give first aid to an infant or child in need. The Care
for Children course content is based on guidelines from the Paediatric Working Group of ILCOR
Our Care for Children courses include 12hr Peadiatric First Aid, 6hr First Aid for Nannies
and Schools First Aid courses.
PRIMARY
CARE (Basic Life Support & CPR)

to life-threatening emergencies -have
confidence in your ability to provide care when emergency situations arise
SECONDARY CARE (Illness & Injury Assessment and First Aid) These skills cover the identification and treatment
of injuries and illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening along with Bandaging skills
